Imitators Are Not Original
Exodus 7:8-12
How easily do we get caught up in social media fame life? Often times we will find ourselves trying to adjust our life to mimic the perfect life that is displayed by the influencers.
Then we find yourself wondering, why am I not experiencing the same joy and happiness that’s displayed by my influencers .
Well I came to tell you
IMITATE is not the ORIGINAL. No matter how hard you try to imitate someone else life, You will never be satisfied until you learn to accept the original version of yourself.
Example: You have the choice to choose (Dr Pepper or Mr. Thunder) (7up or a Twist up)
Are you going with the original name-brand that you know and trust, or are you choosing the imposter that is there imitating the original name-brand?
God made each one of his children unique, gifted, and special. So why would you settle for an imitation version of yourself? Satan tries to fill us with self doubt, insecurity, and disappointment to keep us from doing the Work of God. So don’t fall short while trying to keep up with the lifestyle that God does not have planned for you!
We had a beautiful testimony at today’s service. Satan was trying to steal the confidence from a beautiful voice. Satan was trying to conceal her praise, by making her believe that her voice was not good enough to Give God praise. BUT GOD Today, she stood bold In the presence of God, and told Satan that she WILL continue to use her gift of singing, and he DOES NOT get to take her confident or hide her gift.
Look at yourself, what do you feel like Satan is stealing from you! Is it your joy, confidence, or your ability to continue to run in this Christian race? Now ask yourself are you strong enough to push Satan out of your way, so that you can embrace the gifts that God has blessed you with
