WOMEN OF R.U.T.H MINISTRY
RAISING UP TRUE HELPERS

The women's ministry overseer is First Lady Ronna Sutton

God gave Lady Sutton a vision to bring the women of the church together so that the women could grow as sisters in Christ to help exercise their gifts. When the church started in 2015, the ladies were simply called the Women's Ministry; however, with our church being named Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry, the women of the church wanted to come together to do outreach ministry. As the women began to meet, they learned how to get to know one another and trusting each other by getting on one accord as sisters in Christ. Before going out to do outreach and the more they exercised being on one accord, the Lord began to bring them together as sisters in the way He wanted them to.

The sisters came together to do intercessory paryer and meeting twice a month to fellowship by studying the Word of God. The first women's conference was held on April 8, 2017. The women were able to do outreach ministry with Family Promise and The Dream Center of Easley. On September 7, 2018; the women's ministry along with women within the community went on a women's retreat in Gatlinburg, Tennesse. They had an awesome time in God together.

It was after the retreat, the Lord begin to speak to First Lady Sutton and after speaking with Pastor Carolyn Graham about new beginnings and taking what was learned at the retreat and hearing from God. The name of the women's ministry was changed to The Women of Ruth. Raising up True Helpers is the acroynym God gave. After seeking God based upon our vision for our ministry. The women wanted to be true helper's of God by being Gods hand and feet.
