Timothy Sutton

Pastor Timothy E. Sutton is the son of Harry & Nell Sutton and the former pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Anderson, SC. He was the pastor there for about ten years. He is the Senior Pastor of Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry, Easley, South Carolina.

He is married to Ronna V. Sutton and they have two children, Shayron (Shay) and Timothy Jr. (Tip). They just welcomed their first grandchild, Gianna Olivia.

Pastor Sutton is a graduate of Easley High School and Greenville Technical College. He has a diploma in Theology from America Baptist College. He is currently a student at Covington Theological Seminary working on a Bachelor of Theology degree. He was a former Associate Minister at Christ Place Baptist Church, Easley, SC under the leadership of Pastor C.E. Aiken; while there, he also served as Youth Pastor, Youth Mentor, Trustee, and Choir Director. He is passionate about delivering the Word of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, he is committed to continue the ministry of Christ by working in the community. Pastor Sutton has taken three mission trips to the Central American country of Belize.

Pastor Sutton is employed with General Electric, Greenville, SC. Ever willing to share his love of Jesus Christ, he organized and teaches Bible study five days a week there to teach those eager to learn. Pastor Sutton realizes that ministry expands beyond the edifice of the church. Pastor Sutton desires to make a difference in the lives of God's people. Pastor Sutton has helped organize and operate a food ministry where 50 to 100 families a week are served.
